Dr. Jacobus Swart received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP). He has had an outstanding academic and managerial career as Professor and Director of the Center for Semiconductor Components at UNICAMP, as well as Director of the CTI in Campinas. He is an IEEE Life Fellow, a member of the Brazilian National Academy of Engineering, and a two-time President of SBMicro. He founded the company JW Swart Innovation in Semiconductors and currently serves as Collaborating Professor at UNICAMP and General Coordinator of the INCT NAMITEC research network.
